Transactions overview
All transactions you send to Fraugster via the Fraugster API are located in the Transactions section. Go to the section in the side navigation to view all transactions for a given period of time. Choose a different date range in the upper-left corner of the screen to update what you see. A quick range selection is available, for example Last 30 days or Last quarter.
Please note: Fraugster displays transactions that are up to 12 months old.
Filters
You can filter transactions by the following criteria:
- Merchant
- Transaction amount
- Status (by default, we show the latests status of each transaction)
- Decision
- Tag
- Score
- Rule hits (Fraud Management SaaS users)
- List hits
- Payment method brand
- Card brand
tip
Use to pin the date and merchant filters across all pages of your account where the filters apply. For the merchant filter, the pin becomes visible when you select at least one merchant.
Search
You can search by almost any data you have available for a transaction. Apart from the common search by customer name or transaction ID, you may also search by:
- Email address
- Email username
- Various parts of the address, including city, state, street, ZIP code, etc.
- Phone number
- Device ID
- Cart items description
Have a look at the complete list of variables supported by the search. The data stored in these datapoints or attributes is available for search purposes.
Important to remember
Our search is very flexible in terms of the data
you can search by. The search itself works as any other type of search – you
enter a keyword and the results containing that keyword appear. That means that
if you search by the keyword Margaret
, you get search results containing that
keyword. These results may include an email address, for example [email protected]
, a
customer name, for example Margaret Hamilton
, a shipping address, for example Margaret Str. 24
, and so on.
Transactions
Each transaction, on the other hand, is represented by the information in the following columns:
- The Fraugster transaction ID (
frg_trans_id
as received in the API response) - The timestamp (the time in UTC when the transaction took place)
- The transaction amount in the original currency
- The merchant that generated the transaction
- The email address of the customer
- The IP country of the purchase
- The decision made by Fraugster
- The transaction status (received by Fraugster in the sync or async status update. By default, we show the latest received status for each transaction. To change the default behavior, open the Status filter and unselect the checkbox Latest status only.
Select a transaction to view its summary. The transaction box expands to display Fraugster decision and additional transactional information. Select See full transaction details to check even more information about the transaction, including signals and customer identity.
To export the transactions, select in the upper-right corner → Export transactions. Please note that you export only the data you have filtered on the screen. If you want to export all the transactions, clear all filters and export again. It may take several minutes to export big amounts of data.
