Manage users
You can manage users in Admin if your role is Admin, Senior Account Manager, or Senior Analyst. Common use cases for managing users include:
- Editing user's personal details
- Resetting their password
- Changing their role
- Deleting or deactivating their account
Edit user details
To edit user details:
- Go to Admin → Users in the side navigation.
- Find the user you want to edit. Hover over the user and select .
- In the dialogue window, modify the information as needed.
- Status: toggle the switch to deactivate the user or activate them again.
- First and last name: modify user's first and/or last name.
- Email address: modify user's email address.
- Role: select a new role for the user.
- Confirm with .
Reset password
If a user forgot their password, they can reset it any time. User navigates to the login page and requests to reset their password. User receives an email and follows the steps to reset their password.
You can also reset a user's password for them. In this case, their password becomes invalid and they can't log in to their Fraugster account until they set up a new password.
To reset a user's password:
- Go to Admin → Users in the side navigation.
- Find the user you want to reset the password for. Hover over the user and select .
- Confirm the password reset.
Please note: If you haven't received the password reset email, check your spam folder. Make sure you’re not accidentally blocking any emails from Fraugster.
Deactivate or delete users
To deactivate a user:
- Go to Admin → Users in the side navigation and find the user you want to deactivate.
- Hover over the user and select .
- Toggle the switch to set the user as inactive and save your changes.
You can make the user active again anytime.
To delete a user:
- Go to Admin → Users in the side navigation and find the user you want to delete.
- Hover over the user and select .
- Confirm deletion in the dialogue window. The user account is deleted from the user list.
This action is irreversible. You need to create a new account for this user if you want them to access the Dashboard again.
