Set up alerts for rules to get notifications based on the specified conditions. For example, you want to be notified when a rule hits 750 transactions or 2% of your overall traffic – create an alert and get notified per email when this happens.

There are two major types of rule alerts:

  1. Threshold – get notified if the amount of rule hits reaches a set threshold amount. For this type of alert, we calculate the value of the condition for the given measurement size, for example the sum of rule hits in 24 hours.
  2. Change – get notified if a rule performs differently than the average that was recorded for it in a certain time span. This is useful if you want to track a fraud trend, or check if a rule starts misbehaving. For example, you want to be notified if a rule hits 30% more transactions than the average that we registered for the past 24 hours.

    Please note: to notify you on a trend, we first need to register the average for the selected time span. So if you set a time span of 24 hours, we're going to measure the average in the first 24 hours, and you may be notified in the next 24 hours in case a change happens.
